After the fires and flooding our entire back yard was left with boulders as big as cars, debris, mud and fallen trees. Mike Willhite and his team, (Doug-we love you!) and Kyle restored it to a beautiful park like setting without one glitch. Hardly imaginable with a job this size stretching over 2 acres. A first for us, and its not to say we didn’t run into problems. We did and Mike solved every one patiently and to our satisfaction. He was on job site almost daily. No arguments. No excuses. He did what was right to get the job done and done to his perfection as well as ours.

Talk about pride in your work! We had several bids, from local guys and out of town guys in the beginning and after talking to all the escavaters we interviewed it was Mikes style (easy going) his work ethic (He didn’t raise the price halfway because he could get away with it and take advantage—he is honest) his talent (saw the vision we had for the property) his keen artistic eye (suggested a dry creek bed and mound area to enhance the property which it did and he was right) his resourcefulness (Mike was able to get free trail bark and each truck that hauled debris away he picked up trail material and did not charge us) and execution (has the equipment, the talented dirt movers—yes its not easy placing rocks so they look natural and didnt quit until the project was exactly the vision fulfilled.) They banked our streamed so flooding would not happen again while being sensitive to the environment and helping us save some oak trees. Doug Hill even put a large heart shaped rock at the top of our trail to remind me that good things come out of bad with just a little love. We are super picky and Mike Willhite was flawless. You want him part of your team! The highest of recommendations.
